Beyerl, Paul: The Master Book of Herbalism

Phoenix Publishing, Custer WA 1984 ISBN 0-919345-53-0

This book is a fairly complete source for information about the magical use of herbs. It also offers a section on "remedial" or therapeutic use, but the information here is scanty, and taken from older herbals. If you can on ly afford one book on the magical use of herbs, Cunningham's covers more her bs and offers the information in a more accessible format; however, this book is clearly written by someone with a more ceremonial slant on herb magic, and rounds out the other very well. It also covers the use of many gemstones in magic. Good appendices of common names, planetary correspondences and magical uses. Nice section on herbs associated with the Sabbats. ~WS
