ACTIONS: expectorant, demulcent, emollient, alterative, diuretic, nutritive tonic, immunoregulatory, thyroid nutrient, anti-oxidant, lubricating laxative, antipyretic.
INDICATIONS: soothes irritated mucus membranes so good for colds, sore throats, etc; dissolves firm masses such as tumours, treats enlarged thyroid, lymph node enlargement, and swollen painful testes; reduces edema; obesity; hypothyroidism; rheumatoid arthritis.
PRECAUTIONS: Contraindicated for patients with weak, cold digestion. Can accumulate toxic waste metals in polluted environments.
