Merry Meet and Welcome!
Whatever your tune, we're glad you've joined us in this Dance.

Greetings, and welcome to "The Dance!" Click HERE to go directly to our Site Map!

This web site is here due in large part to the dedication of our dear Willowsong, who sadly was taken from us in 1998. Her personality, and her love for the craft, are evident everywhere you look around here, and we have devoted ourselves to keeping this web site alive in her honor. Here is the link to her tribute page.

In Willo's own words, “Welcome to The Dance. I was wondering when we'd be friends again.... ”

We also owe a large debt of gratitude to Arianna (a.k.a. Kookster; Rhyddia), who started this web site way back in August of 1996 as Arianna's Dance. She was the creative force for The Dance, and while she has since gone on to other pursuits, we greatly appreciate her efforts to get this web site started and her continued work to maintain it. She is, and always will be, a much-loved and welcome member of our family.

We consider each and every one of you part of our family, and for those of you who haven't met us yet, here's who we are. We're the ones who are doing the administrative work around here, but without all of you and your suggestions, this place wouldn't exist. We encourage you to let us know what we can do to make this place even better! Feel free to email us with ideas, suggestions, and (politely-worded) complaints.

Lunah is a 32-year-old Gemini and Pagan. She lives in Winchester, Virginia, with her fiance Michael, three cats, two snakes, and a tegu (she's a big lizard). She's been a practicing Pagan for more than 16 years, most of those as a solitary. She and Michael are currently doing a first degree class with a local coven. Lunah is a volunteer paramedic (NREMT-P) and avid intermediate belly dancer. Her fiance is a skilled tattoo artist, so she has a growing collection of ink!

Morgana, a Scorpio, is an eclectic solitary with ties to the Reclaiming Tradition, and currently lives in Virginia. She has been Wiccan for about 10 years, with a largely Celtic bent. She also works with gods and goddesses from the Yoruba pantheon (west Africa). Her interests in the craft are varied, including healing, herbalism, and divination. Once a dancer in the more usual sense (ballet, jazz, african), Morgana is happy to continue the weaving of this site with her fellow Dancers!

Kris aka silberbaren is a 40 year old solitary Pagan.  She lives in Washington State, on the Kitsap Peninsula with her family and assorted animal and human friends.  She has practiced Paganism in one form or another since she was 15.  An avid fan of history, she will help you with religion and historical perspective.  The "silberbaren" is German for Silver Bear, and while not entirely correct in high German, is common in some of the lower dialects.  Merry Meet and Dance On!

Zyalia (pronounced zy-uh-LEE-a) the crone, is the newest addition to Team Dance, and she completes the fifth point of the pentagram. She is a double Leo, has been a witch following a pre-Gardnarian Tradition for all of her life. Recently being made a Granny, she lives on a Lake somewhere in the northwest wilds of New Jersey, to be near her son. She shares her home with two cats, Chamomile and SamHain, and two baby dragons, Lance and Gwen. Zyalia is a Priestess of Epona and heads a small coven. She returns frequently to Devon, her hearts home, and plans to retire to Ireland (where the tax structure is very favourable) in the not too distant future.

If, in your explorations, you find anything that doesn't work as it should, or you have any ideas that will make the site more interesting, more fun, more complete, or easier to use, please write to us. We want to continue to make this a place you will enjoy and visit often.

Help yourself to our Love, Light, and Laughter, and be at home here.

    Team Dance
